Part-time Retail Sales Associate Job Summary

    $10 – 12 per hour depending on experience



  • Greet customers when they enter the store

  • Develop knowledge concerning all our products, services and policies

  • Build rapport with customers through conversation and honest recommendations and provide them with accurate guidance about products

  • Ring up sales and schedule appointments

  • Successfully assist customers with product selection and purchases

  • Facilitate customer on-boarding process by establishing new accounts and clearly communicating policies and procedures

  • Maintain knowledge of current sales promotions, payments and exchanges policies



  • Excellent telephone, communication and sales skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Basic computer comprehension and willingness to expand knowledge

  • Highly organized and detail oriented

  • High-energy, friendly personality

  • Basic addition and subtraction skills and proficiency with money

  • Legible handwriting and good spelling skills

  • Willingness to become subject matter expert

  • Ability to pass a background check

  • Ability to work Saturday and overtime when necessary

  • Ability to remain professional when dealing with disgruntled customers or those struggling to understand specific concepts
